I was trying to avoid cutting any holes in drywall, but I couldn't get a fish tape from the j-box down in to the crawlspace. I *was* able to feed the new wire up into the stud bay. I grabbed a hole saw and made a hole just large enough to get my fingers in so I could feed the wire into the j-box.
